Tasked with transporting File/D, the Magellan Melrow came under attack by Nietzscheans and a missile impact set off the device. This rendered the crew into a vegetative state, allowing members of Rakshasha Pride to board and seize the weapon. The crew was later recovered by Captain Hunt and sent to a research facility to see if the effects of File/D could be reversed.
