Ships

High Guard

Glorious Heritage class: Heavy assault warships with lots of firepower. Primarily having missiles and AP cannons. For balance, little anti-fighter support but capable of building slipfighters.

Eternal Vigilance class: Medium sized ships with larger sensor range than the Glorious Heritage class. Is better equipped for handling fighters and is armed with AP cannons. Not long range attackers and not able to stand up to a full cruiser one on one.

To Seek, To Find Class class: Fast corvettes with large sensor ranges capable of acting as scouts. Capable of fighting off fighters but not massive waves like the Eternal Vigilance class.

Siege Perilous class: About the same as the Glorious Heritage class, with a lot more missiles. Is a long range attacker. Is well suited to taking on fighters at close range, but less so against enemy cruisers.

Slipfighter: Two types. Phoenix class, standard anti-fighter units. Shrike class, anti-capital ships, more like bombers.

Nietzschean

Nietzschean cruiser: Standard cruiser, designed to take on capital ships. However, they're no match one on one against a Glorious Heritage Class, though are capable of taking on an Eternal Vigilance class.

Garuda class: Standard Nietzschean fighters. Taking on both fighter and bomber roles, as such they are slower than Phoenix class slipfighters.

Possible Missions

High Guard

High Guard split into two sections, Old and New Commonwealth.

  • Pax Magellanic
  • Million Voices
  • Balance of Judgment
  • Eight Eternal Vigilance cruisers
  • Fifteen Too Seek, To Find vessels
  • Large number of slipfighters

  • Pax Magellanic
  • Million Voices
  • Balance of Judgment
  • Eight Eternal Vigilance cruisers
  • Fifteen Too Seek, To Find vessels

Dylar Shipyards: A major Nietzschean shipyard and staging point. Take your taskforce and destroy it. Both the Pax Magellanic and the Million Voices have been detached from your fleet, but you've been reinforced by Than Home Guard forces.

Ships available:

  • Twelve Centuries - flagship
  • Balance of Judgment
  • Ten Eternal Vigilance cruisers
  • Twenty Too Seek, To Find vessels

New Commonwealth

Kalderan Containment Campaign: The Kalderans have begun advancing towards Commonwealth space. Halt their advance by destroying their forward fleets.

To Stir a Hornet's Nest: The Kalderans have not been deterred and are continuing their advance. Take the fight to them by destroying their main shipyards.

Aggressive Negotiations: The remaining Kalderan forces are gathering for one final battle. Destroy them to end the threat once and for all.

Nietzschean

For Nietzschean, have some missions also take place during the Long Night after the Fall.

Tactical Offensive

Palace Coup: Ambush the Vedran empress and destroy her ship and escorting taskforce.

High Guard Station Acheron: You command the fleet ordered to seize Ancheron and prevent a High Guard counterattack.

Battle of Witchhead: After the ignition of the Nebula, you must rally your forces and finish off the High Guard once and for all.

Long Night period

The Matter of Genes: The Genites have launched a massive campaign against various Nietzschean prides. Defend Enga's Redoubt from their attack.

Proper Engineering: Strike at the Genite main fleet and cripple them.

The Progenitor: The Progenitor's remains are rightfully that of the Drago-Kazov Pride. The Kodiaks refuse to surrender it. Destroy them and reclaim the remains.
