Kevin David Sorbo (*September 24, 1958 in Mound, Minnesota, USA) stars as Captain Dylan Hunt.
After a degree at the Minnesota State University Moorhead Kevin travelled three years around the world and earned his money starring in advertisments (for example "Jim Beam"). In 1986 he moved to Los Angeles and had several small guest appearances (eg "Murder, She Wrote").
Kevin's breakthrough came in 1995 with the role of "Hercules" in "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" which was airing for four years. In this time he also made himself familiar with the work behind the camera and directed and wrote some of the episodes.
In 1998 he married Sam Jenkins whith whom he has three children: Braedon Cooper, Shane Haaken, and Octavia Flynn. Kevin also supports "A World Fit For Kids!".
