One of the few bright spots in an otherwise devasted region of space, Halcyon has recently rebuilt its industrial base and begun an ambitious program of reconstruction. However, this newfound prosperity has resulted in an influx of millions of desperate migrants in search of work. Attempts to regulate this immigration have met with partial success, but social tensions on Halcyon continue to rise.
