This poorly terraformed prison planet, is mostly woodland and has a high level of alkalinity in the soil. If this was intentional or accidental, it is unknown. But it makes perfect for controlling prisoners, because any food grown in this soil lacks vital nutrients, therefor the only food supply is at the prison. This planet also has a strong defense system to keep any ships from landing, and remote airborne drones used to hunt down and kill escaped prisoners.
