Point Defense Laser

Point Defense Laser (abbr. PDL) are laser guns in the range of 30-50 megawatts.
Because of its fast and precise targetting software and its high fire rate they have the ability to destroy enemy missiles while approaching. Just as well PDL can be used against fighter and drone, whereas the unprecise AP-Guns are usually preffered, because of its higher fire power.
PDL are mounted on every small or large ships for missile defense and for precise fire, sometimes they are used as primary armament on light fighters.
