A small Nietzschean pride, the Lynx were victims of the Genite resurgence sometime before the establishment of the restored Commonwealth. Their mayday reached the Andromeda Ascendant several weeks after the attack took place and no survivors were found. However, the Andromeda managed to collect some Genite technology from the wreckages and from the distress call learned that the Genites were targeting specific bloodlines.
