The Basilisk was the heart of the Machen Alpha navy. Originally designed as a defensive ship, at the end of its design phase new weapons systems were introduced. These weapons were point singularity projectors and made the Basilisk an extremely powerful warship. As Machen Alpha was heavily prejudiced to artificial intelligences, the people began using the ship to attack those who were more tolerant. They had already destroyed one world when they prepared to attack Mobius. The Andromeda Ascendant came to Mobius' defense and destroyed the Basilisk as well as steal the Swarm Ship that was the origin of the PSPs.
