The Clarion's Call was a High Guard Lancer transport captured by the Nietzscheans and dumped into Tartarus. Its AI, Ryan, was studied by the Nietzscheans in their attempts to permanently delete a ship's AI. Eventually, the High Guard warships trapped with Ryan were able to cobble together a single slipstream drive and had him escape, though he wandered slipstream for a hundred years because AIs cannot navigate it properly. His mission was to sow dissent between the various Prides but this proved to be an impossible task. The Clarion's Call was eventually turned into a casino by Nightsiders but Ryan was rescued by Captain Dylan Hunt. The ship was abandoned but the AI eventually went on to take command of the Wrath of Achilles.
