Judgment (AE) vs. Judgement (BE)

As far as i'm concerned, i think we should use the official (AE) version (from andromedatv.com). Moreover, the whole episodes have been shot overseas, so the name probably has its origin there. --EoD 13:18, 12 May 2007 (CEST)

Shipclass

It seems I made a mistake. The Judgement is not a DSX/Wrath of Achilles. It's one of the older types, a Siege Perilous Class. Z98 22:35, 12 May 2007 (CEST)

No, i think you have been right before. The ASU says in the description, that the Balance of Judgment has been a Wrath of Achilles class warship (" to date, only two have been completed and launched-the Wrath of Achilles and the Balance of Judgement"). See here. --EoD 13:47, 13 May 2007 (CEST)

I'm starting to doubt how accurate the ASU really is. There are several points of inaccuracies or inconsistencies I see. Some parts sound like they're from the Restored Commonwealth while others sound like they're pre-Fall/pre-Insurrection. I mean, the Wrath of Achilles was built during the war, but the article on the DSX/DSA II sound like they're still at peace. Z98 22:14, 13 May 2007 (CEST)

This is definitely going to be very confusing. Maybe the information of the ASU has been written, before they actually started shooting the series. Afterwards they changed some things in the episodes, but forgot to change the ASU. I don't want to confuse the readers of the wiki, so we should get our information out of the episodes (as you do it atm) and change the articles accordingly.
If the Siege Perilous Class is really the DSA II ship, why do we have a class called "Wrath of Achilles", although the Wrath of Achilles (ship) itself is a DSA II ship? If they confused the names, what name does the AAC cruiser class have then? What about the DSA I? Do you remember all those names in the episodes (DSA I/II, Siege Perilous, AAC, Wrath of Achilles, Righteous Fist of Heaven, ...)?
If we can answer those questions, we'll maybe find what has been confused in the ASU. --EoD 16:24, 15 May 2007 (CEST)

Just a thought... doesn't the DSA stand for Deep (something beginning with S... Space, Stand-Of, whatever) Attack ship? IMO that means the type of the ship, like todays "Frigate" or "Corvette". If i'm correct, we could write something like the Siege Perilous Class DSA Wrath of Achilles.... --Chiron 18:58, 15 May 2007 (CEST)

From the descriptions of the DSX, they're more like missile cruisers/battleships, with an insane amount of firepower and armor. The series throws terms around like destroyers, cruisers, etc, with seemingly no consideration for their real world meanings, so I'm not sure how reliable those labels are. The Judgement was called a Siege Perilous destroyer while the Achilles was called a DSX attack cruiser. If they're of the same class, the Judgement is almost certainly older than the Achilles, considering Hunt knew about the ship class in general but didn't recognize the Achilles. That seems odd, since the first ship of the class is usually named after the class in question. Chiron's suggestion was that we note the inconsistencies and leave it be for now, but I'm open to redoinging some of the articles. The catch of course being we'd be diverging heavily from the ASU, which seems to be the established reference for many Andromeda fans. Z98 20:05, 15 May 2007 (CEST)
