Ships of the Glorious Heritage Class

Where do you get your infos about old/new GH ships? There had been a discussion in a german Andromeda Forum about this topic and the result was this list:
Old GH ships

  • 1. Pax Magellanic (Jill)
  • 2. Million Voices (Mila)
  • 3. Magellan Melrow
  • 4. Khanduv(?)
  • 5. ?
  • 6. ?
  • 7. ?
  • 8. ?
  • 9. ?
  • 10. Andromeda (Rommie)

New GH ships

  • 11. Crimson Sunrise (?)
  • 12. Lancer's Hope(?)
  • 13. Midian Breach(?)

A little bit of intuition and drawing references from the series. So, the old Commonwealth built 10, which seems rather low considering the Argosy was supposed to have over 100,000 ships. We know for sure two were destroyed, Million Voices and Pax Magellanic. I'm also fairly certain a few more were lost at the Battle of Witchhead since we see shapes like them. At Tartarus, I'm not entirely sure if there were any other GH's besides Milla. The recycling of old clips by the producers really makes keep track of things difficult. I mean, I swear Twelve Centuries was a GH class, but they're reusing the clip of the destruction of the Renewed Valor for it, I think. It also makes sense for TC to be a GH class. Anyways, Midian Breach, Magellan Melrow, and Lancer's Hope are all mentioned in Season 4, after the destruction of the Commonwealth fleet. I didn't see any GH ships amongst the surviving fleet following Andromeda so I can only assume none survived. That's about all I've got. And where did #4 come from? Z98 20:19, 18 July 2007 (CEST)

When they are mentioned in Season 4, they don't have necessarily to be GHs of the new CW. The Khanduv is the prison of Gunyon which looks like an old GH class ship. --EoD 00:56, 19 July 2007 (CEST)

  1. 4 is the prison ship in the Episode "The Leper's Kiss". We are not sure about the spelling, but it's the best we've got. We think the Khanduv is a Glorious Heritage that has been heavily damaged in the nietzschean war, then it got salvaged and concerted into a prison. --Chiron 00:58, 19 July 2007 (CEST)

Umm, where did you guys get Magellan Melrow as an older ship from? Anyways, I personally don't have any stronger arguments besides what I said above, so if you guys have other reasons, let me know. I can't read German so I don't know how you guys came up with that list. Z98 01:27, 20 July 2007 (CEST)
