The mainly uninhabitated world Acheron was an important base of the High Guard.
However, during The Long Night the planet fell to the Nietzscheans of the Drago Kazov tribe. They conquered the base with great casualities and against the massive resistance of the Commonwealth armed forces.
With Acheron the Nietzscheans were able to control the whole sector and the orbital ordnances of the planet helped them to contol an important slip-route too. In CY 10088 the facility was distroyed by Captain Dylan Hunt and Tyr Anasazi, so that the Andromeda Ascendant and a convoy of Wayists were able to get to Rodina.
