A Gauss Gun is a weapon which fires various projectiles using electromagnetic forces. They work by powering a series of coils which pull the projectile along until they exit the barrel. The basic design of such Guns varies from a rifle type to handguns.
Many different projectiles are available although many are considered 'smart' in their ability to track, at least to some degree, a target.
