The Pyrians are a methan breathing race and are very expansionistic. While having very different needs and interests, Pyrians are able to pyroform worlds to their need so ended up fighting the old Commonwealth for planets such as Brahman. It is only through force of arms that they agree to peacefully coexisted with the oxygen breathing races.
