Elssbett Mossadim-Bolivar (portrayed by Kimberly Huie) is the Sabra first daughter, of Lucrezia by Tamerlane. On her tenth birthday she received several Mono-molecular lashes from her father with the engraving "Be more than you seem."

In CY 10087 the Sabra and Jaguar prides attempted to end the two hundred year conflict between them. The treaty hinged on an arranged marriage between Elssbett and the son of the Jaguar Archduke, Charlemagne Bolivar. Captain Dylan Hunt agrees to transport Elssbett to the Jaguar homeworld in exchange for the freedom of two systems the two prides had been fighting over. However, they were intercepted by the Drago-Kazov while enroute. Dylan flees with Elssbett on the Eureka Maru and realizes that she is actually on a suicide mission to assassinate the Jaguar leadership. She had been preparing for this mission her own life and to ensure the survival of her genetic material, had her eggs removed. She sleeps with Dylan while they are on a drift but the two must flee again when Dragan troops find them. Ultimately, the two reach the Jaguar system, where Dylan forces Elssbett to call upon the hidden Sabra fleet to join the Jaguars in repelling the Drago-Kazov. Elssbett goes through with the wedding and finds that Charlemagne pleases her. She congratulates Dylan and frees the two systems as per the agreement.

In CY 10088 the Sabra-Jaguar sign the Commonwealth charter in order to gain allies against the Drago-Kazov. Not long after this Elssbett demanded the help of the Andromeda Ascendant in a war against the Drago-Kazov. Elssbett forced Dylan to engage the Dragans in direct defiance of his orders but ultimately came to regret it. Eventually Dylan was able to salvage the situation and Elssbett grudgingly accepted his assessment of the outcome as a win.
