Brother to Beka Valentine, Rafe followed in the steps of his family in his shady dealings. A successful con-artist in the past, he eventually became a spy for the Free Trade Alliance in their efforts to defeat the Restorians. Rafe went undercover and soon ran into his sister during a Restorian plot to destroy the Andromeda Ascendant. Together, the tricked the Restorians into destroying their own ships. Rafe left afterwards, taking Beka's entire music collection with him.
