The Abyss (portrayed by Robert Saunders) is a mysterious power and the leader of the Magog.
In 10.087 CY the existance of the Abyss emerged for the first time, when Trance Gemini found him 'by accident' in the records of the raid on the Brandenburg Tor by the Magog.
It seems that his aim is to destroy all known worlds with the support of the Magog and their World Ship.
