Synopsis
After the Andromeda Ascendant and her Captain Dylan Hunt were frozen for 300 years in the event horizon of a black hole the ship is saved by Beka Valentine and the crew of the Eureka Maru.
Continuity
- Dylan's fiancee Sara Riley has two appearances in the series: The Banks Of Lethe (1x08) and Home Fires (2x08). Furthermore there is a picture of her and Dylan in To Loose the Faithful Lightning (1x03.
- Dylan's first officer Gaheris Rhade is killed in this episode. Nevertheless he appears several times in flashbacks: Forced Perspective (1x03) and Home Fires (2x08). In The Unconquerable Man (3x10) Gaheris get a bigger role when he is the Captain of the Andromeda Ascedant in a parallel universe. Because of his performance in this episode Stece Bacic (the actor of Gaheris Rhade) became a permanent member of the crew in Season Four (as Telemachus Rhade).
