Synopsis
The Andromeda Ascendant rescues a Wayist ship under attack, but when the passengers come on board, Beka recognizes one as her brother, Rafe Valentine. Recalling his past as a con-artist, Beka is slow to trust her brother. When Restorians begin attacking, suspicions flare as sabotage cripples the Andromeda.

- The first appearance of the Restorians was in To Loose The Fateful Lightning. In "The Ties that blind" they get their name.
- Dylan states he's 342 years old: the Andromeda was trapped in the black hole for 303 years + he is now 39 years old (some episodes later - It Makes A Lovely Light 1x21 - the crew celebrates his 40th birthday).
- No Harper in the whole episode: he particpates in a surfing competiton of Infinity Atoll.
